Humans and pests use water daily to survive so it’s no wonder moisture in your house will bring pests. Water soaked wood will attract termites, ants will be attracted to dripping faucets and dripping air conditioners. Overflowing gutters fountains or pools will attract mosquitoes

Solution:

Be sure to keep the house dry. Drain unnecessary water bodies, clean gutters and fix dripping faucets to prevent insects from visiting for the water. Mosquitoes need water bodies, this is why.

Problem:

Just as pets and humans need water and food we also need places to call home. Pests might sneak into your house to seek refuge from the cold weather outside

Solution:

Be sure to seal up openings where pests can get into. Use a sealant or caulk to do so. Close up any crawl spaces you might have in your house where pests can nest

The smell of over-ripened fruit will send pests flooding into your home, anything left in your fruit basket for too long will be attractive to pests.

Pets eat all sorts of food, pet food is a type of food that is attractive to them especially if it’s left out in the open. If pests find this laying around they can get into your pet food or even rip open the bag.

Solution :

Be sure to clean up crumbs during and after eating, even if it’s a little bit, that’s all that pests need.

If there are flies in the house it’s probably because of a dormant drain or a slow or clogged drain. Unused drains collect organic material and water creating a slimy film that drain flies love.
